First off, as the title suggests, this is going to be a site dedicated to game reviews, and that is all that it will be about....at least for now. The revolution part is the fact that I have gotten so fed up with all the other gaming sites and their biased reviews that I decided to create my own review site. Instead of the usual scores for things like presentation, online, overall, etc, this site will just give the facts. How the game plays, is the story any good, does it look good, is there any bugs. You guys read it, and then you decide if it is the type of game that you want to play, you go get it, if it doesn't appeal to you, then don't...but it is your call.
Gaming sites now-a-days have gotten so commercialized that it seems like they all have hidden agenda's. They will chastise a game for something, and then give 5 other games free passes on the same problem. Or they will cry out for innovation, and when a company comes out with an innovative title, they generally bash it for not fitting their mold of conformity. I want to change that, I just want to give you the info you need to see if it is a game you would like and then you can decide if it is for you.
For the time being, my reviews are going to be for the PS3 only as that is the system I own. My reviews will come out after the game has been released as I have to buy the game like the rest of you and play through it first. Hopefully I can get some recognition from the industry itself and start getting games before they are released so I can give reviews like the rest of the sites but for now, I will have to game like everyone else.
I am going to spend the next couple of days ironing out exactly how my reviews will be done and list them in a separate post. Now since each type of game is different, the reviews will be different based on the genre of game. I am also going to spend the next little bit trying to upgrade the site to make it look better.
